Therapy with me is collaborative, conversational, and grounded in real life. My goal is to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself.
Clients often describe my style as warm, direct, and down-to-earth. I bring clinical expertise to the room, but I also believe therapy works best when it feels human. Think less “cold therapist behind a clipboard” and more honest, meaningful conversation with someone who knows how to help you make sense of what you’re carrying.
Together, we’ll explore patterns, build insight, develop practical tools, and work toward lasting change.
-
I do not accept insurance and operate as a self-pay practice.
This allows me to provide therapy in a way that prioritizes your care over insurance requirements, diagnoses, and treatment limitations. Payment is due at the time of service, and I can provide a superbill upon request if you’d like to pursue out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance plan.
-
Choosing self-pay offers several advantages:
Greater Privacy
Insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis and access to treatment information in order to authorize care. Self-pay allows your therapy to remain more private and confidential.More Personalized Care
Insurance companies can dictate how often we meet, how long treatment lasts, and what kind of therapy is considered “medically necessary.” Self-pay gives us the flexibility to tailor treatment to your needs. No Diagnosis Required
Not everyone seeking therapy has—or wants—a mental health diagnosis. Many clients come to therapy for growth, relationship issues, life transitions, identity work, or general support.Higher Quality, Less Rushed Care
Self-pay allows me to maintain a smaller caseload and offer more intentional, individualized support. -
The first session is about getting to know you.
We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been feeling difficult lately, and what you hope to get out of this process. I may ask questions about your history, relationships, current stressors, and patterns you’ve noticed in yourself. This allows me to understand the full picture of who you are and what you’re carrying.
You do not need to prepare anything or have the “right” words. Just come as you are.
-
Therapy may be helpful if:
You feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break
Your relationships keep triggering the same pain points
You overthink, shut down, people-please, or struggle with boundaries
You’re navigating a major life transition or identity shift
You want to understand yourself more deeply
You’re functioning on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted
You do not need to be in crisis for therapy to be worthwhile. Therapy isn’t just for when things fall apart. It can also be a space for growth, self-understanding, and building a life that feels more aligned.
-
Telehealth is therapy conducted securely online through a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
To participate in telehealth sessions, you’ll need:
A reliable internet connection
A computer, tablet, or smartphone with camera/audio capabilities
A private, quiet space where you can speak openly
Headphones/earbuds (recommended for privacy and sound quality)
-
Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive a secure link to join your virtual session.
At the time of your appointment, simply click the link from your device and you’ll enter the virtual therapy room. Sessions function much like in-person therapy. We’ll meet face-to-face via video, talk in real time, and work together just as we would in a physical office.
Many clients find online therapy to be just as effective as in-person therapy, with the added convenience and flexibility of meeting wherever they feel most comfortable.
